If surf is your aim you can't go past Smiths Beach, walk to the beach in 3 minutes from your room.
Head off to Coop at San Remo for your fish and chips then eat them on the beach at Cape Woolamai or if the weather is wild have a car picnic in the Woolamai Beach carpark
Watch the pelicans come in to be fed as San Remo and marvel at the giant stingrays that beach themselves for a fish also
Phillip Island Winery is open 12pm - 5pm on weekends and public holidays. The Purple Hen Winery offers tasting and antipasto year round, open Friday - Monday 10am-5.30pm
